KOMODO

A stylish choice for South-East Asian flavors. A customer focused business that prides itself on serving the needs of high-end clientele with fun, flair and bold, memorable flavors. A few highlights of our meal at Komodo include: surf and turf maki, dragon maki, vegetable fried rice and lobster shumai. It would be a sin not to try one of the A5 Wagyu options whether it is the maki, steak tacos, dumpling or skirt steak. The bold and umami flavors at Komodo make this location truly shine as well as the stellar customer service; however, the most impressive part of the experience was how well the cocktails paired with the meals. It is clear to me the cocktail and food menu was collaborated on very closely making for an out of this world dining experience.

The drink I chose to order was their specialty drink called the Pikachu. As a nineties kid who absolutely loved pop-culture and vividly remembers the Pokemon craze that extended to modern mobile games I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to try such a weirdly nostalgic cocktail. This delightful drink was served in a very bright, bold Pikachu ceramic mug with a large paper straw. The cocktail consisted of 818 blanco tequila, yuzu, wasabi and honey. This flavor profile with the South-East Asian flavors of my meal was one of the highlight of my most recent dining experiences in Miami.

This swanky multi-level space does not disappoint. A must visit spot in Miami’s Brickell district for a phenomenal meal and unforgettable experience.
